Spanish cyclist Mavi García, member of the Liv Jayco Alula team, has confirmed her participation in Gran Canaria 365, the initiative that promotes the island as a privileged destination for training and enjoying this sport year-round.

The rider from Mallorca recently wrote one of the most memorable chapters in Spanish cycling history at the latest Tour de France, claming a stage victory after triumphing on the second day between Brest and Quimper.

In addition to this achievement, García boasts an extensive track record, including multiple national road race and time trial titles, an Olympic diploma at the Paris Games, a podium finish at the 2022 Giro d’Italia, and strong performances at major international events such as the Glasgow World Championships.

From November 24 to 30, 2025, Gran Canaria will welcome cyclists who will ride through some of the island’s most iconic landscapes. The final highlight will be participation in the TotalEnergies Gran Fondo Pico de las Nieves.

Gran Canaria 365, organized by DG Eventos and Gran Canaria Tri Bike & Run with the support of Gran Canaria Tourism, aims to establish the island as one of the leading international cycling destinations, thanks to its mild climate, diverse roads, and unparalleled natural surroundings.

Mavi García’s inclusion in this initiative not only underscores its importance on the sporting calendar but also gives a significant boost to Gran Canaria’s international profile as a hub for cycling.
